Palu
Palu is named for the metalsmith's primary tool, the hammer. Traditional jewelry techniques require hammering the metal flat to soften it before working it into the desired shape. Balinese metalsmiths today still create vessels in hand-hammered silver for offerings and holy water.
The Palu collection is distinguished by hand-hammered 22K gold or sterling silver. The plays of light over the hammered surface creates a shimmer like that of sunlight or moonlight on water. |
