Staff member Janice Cranford and her husband, Jeff, do design work on the side.  The couple designed the stores 6 by 7 foot entrance featuring a frosted-and stained-glass letter C, the store's logo.  The C is a matrix of colors from actual colored stones including amethyst, sapphire and a luminescent touch from mother-of-pearl.  At the right time of the day, the sunlight lights up the showroom with a rainbow of color, which reinforces that portion of the store's inventory, while the big C builds brand equity.
